Finally the first post!

Thank you to everyone who attended our presentation at Shmoocon 2012. It was a blast presenting this project for the first time and we received a lot of great feedback.

We are now beginning to release our source code and documentation. Also, we will be releasing demo videos on YouTube of what we were going to demonstrate during the talk. Unfortunately, we had an epic failure of our demo system with the videos before the talk, so we are rebuilding the demos now and will release them this week.

We also want to package this in a format that management level individuals will understand to help convey the impact and risk associated with social media sites on sensitive networks. While not the top priority right now, we still want to ensure responsible transmittal of information about our project without understating or fear mongering the message.

Our google code site has the links to our presentation slides (pdf) and the rest of our web presence for SNSCat. The link is http://code.google.com/p/snscat/ .

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to send them to SNSCat2012 on twitter or by email to snscat2012@gmail.com.
